...2008 appears as a Wednesday, rather than as a Tuesday when I go to Current Events in my wiki. I don't know how to correct this, or if I might have done somet ...other way to preload this stuff? I suppose I could create a namespace for Events and add a template to that.

...meter. It's actually for the DPL-calendar, where I want to show the next 5 events coming up in the remainder of this year and the next one. Maybe it would have helped if you had used the special angle brackets instead of the normal angle brackets.
