Organic Design wiki block

Would you unblock my IP address so I can try out the new version please? I really didn't try and "cripple" your server... -Eep² 13:27, 7 September 2007 (CEST)
But if that's true then regarding the repeated requests accessing the historical version of our homepage containing the deleted query, you're saying that either:
  • I lied about the requests and created fraudulent log entries, or
  • The requests did in fact come from you, but you consider that they had no malicious intent.
Last time I tried to put all this malicious request thing behind us, you used my decision as grounds for accusation, which makes me feel hesitant about removing the block. I'll see what the other OD admins say about it. --Nad 14:00, 7 September 2007 (CEST)
Uh, you did accuse me, Nad. Do you need the link to mw:User talk:Happydog#Nad which has a link to http://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Extension_talk:Simple_Forms&curid=13860&diff=127212&oldid=127211 where you deleted the "discussion" of your accusation against me of trying to "cripple" your server. Again, I can't say if the requests came from me since you could've easily created that log (and I can't access the wiki to see what was going around that time anyway--what edits I may have made, what I was trying to do at the time, etc) so I simply can't verify anything--but I know I wasn't bothering to "cripple" your wiki. Why would I? That's just lame. I'm not lame...like some people who seem to like to play mindgames with people but are really bad at it since they are so transparent to even the most simple-minded person (except HappyDog, apparently)... I'm just trying to get my damn wiki to do what I want. I don't appreciate all of your drama that you feel the need to interject. It's unfortunate there are only a limited number of form extensions (both lacking in what I want/need) but for you to overreact the way you did ever since I denied you an account on my wiki (of which no one else but me even has an account on at this time) is quite petty of you, Nad. You should already be well aware of all of this from the MediaWiki wiki but, unfortunately, you got me banned from that now with your games. I guess you don't want bug reports filed and people to actually attempt to use the extensions you create because you sure do seem to put up a lot of barriers to those trying to help you improve your work... A self-reexamination is in order, I believe--look into it. Gero, sorry to clutter up your talk page but it seems Nad only communicates publically with me (and tends to delete/rewrite things he doesn't like) since he's also blocked me from emailing him... -Eep² 14:36, 7 September 2007 (CEST)
Self examination is always good advice, and I do that a lot as its a means continuously improving ones character. But you Eep are the one here who is in most desperate need of self-examination currently, as it's your method of communicating with others that turns people against you "where ever you seem to go", and that has got you edit-blocked from Wikipedia, MediaWiki and OrganicDesign. Of course I want people helping me with feedback, and I like helping people with their problems too - this can easily be seen by the fact that I spend so much time responding to nearly all of the users involved. --Nad 23:01, 7 September 2007 (CEST)
I try to be nice to everybody. I would perceive it as gesture of fairness if you removed the above messages after, say, three or four days. Gero 16:48, 7 September 2007 (CEST)
Eep, your methods of "being nice" are very unusual as the process should not generally involve judgement or sarcasm --Nad 23:01, 7 September 2007 (CEST)
I'm nice to people at first but after someone disrespects me (especially repeatedly), the judgement and sarcasm tends to creep in. -Eep² 22:19, 15 September 2007 (CEST)
Well there you go, just try and stop that from happening and you'll have much less trouble ;-) --Nad 08:06, 16 September 2007 (CEST)
Why should I if the person continues to disrespect me, even accusing me of trying to, say, "cripple" his server? <eyeroll> -Eep² 08:56, 16 September 2007 (CEST)
I just told you why, it's so you make less trouble for yourself. You can still have your own opinions, but just state them without the emotional content, such as the "<eyeroll>"'s etc It's your own actions that result in accusations and blockings. --Nad 09:09, 16 September 2007 (CEST)
An eyeroll is a form of expression, Nad. Textual communication requires conveying more than just text. I'm an emotional being; hence, emotional communication will be included in my textual communication. Don't like it? Tough tits. Twits who accuse and block based on emotional expressions are short-sighted and don't deserve the power they have (and abuse). People new to textual communication (i.e. chat/forums) fall prey to this misinterpreted communications more easily than others, I've noticed (I've been communicating this way since 1991). People need to stop being so damn overhypersensitive and wake up to the reality that life isn't a "cakewalk" and that it can be downright brutal at times. -Eep² 09:54, 16 September 2007 (CEST)
I'm not trying to have an argument with you here, I'm just trying to explain to you why you're having trouble in your communications. We're all emotional beings, but when things become tense that's exactly the time to get purely logical, not the time to start getting sarcastic and judgemental. Bear in mind that it's you that's running in to all the on-going trouble here and therefore needs to make changes - no one else involved feels the need to make changes because they're not experiencing any problems in their communications. --Nad 10:12, 17 September 2007 (CEST)
Uh huh...sure, Nad, sure. It's all my fault, right? I'm the only one to blame, eh? Bull-fucking-shit. Everyone else is just as guilty as I am. The difference is, I'm in full control of my emotions and others act on impulse and are quick with their "trigger finger" to block/ban me instead of trying to work things out. They'd rather copout and take the easy way out of the situation. Unfortunately, the situation won't go away and will just keep coming back harder and stronger until the idiots get a clue and change their ways. I'm not the ones on the power trips here, Nad; you and other admins (and people with any kind of power over others) are. You don't see Gero acting all impulselike and banning me, do you? No. Why? Because he knows how to handle himself and not act like a total git when he's challenged. And that's what it's really all about, isn't it? Ego. People too scared to let go of what little power they have when challenged. Pathetic. -Eep² 13:01, 17 September 2007 (CEST)

Do you see me getting all egotistical here? No. I'm just trying to help you prevent having the ongoing trouble that you've said you have a lot of the time. No matter whose fault things may be, the bottom line is that you're the one suffering (by being blocked or involved in many arguments, which doesn't happen to most of us) and so need to change something unless you actually like having that happen all the time - which I'm starting to think could be the case. --Nad 00:14, 18 September 2007 (CEST)

No, Nad, not now are you acting egotistical but you were before when you claimed I was a "timewaster", etc. Surely you remember--or would you like some links to your statements as proof? Come on now...you should be well aware that your mindtrick attempts don't work with me... I simply don't enjoy being messed with, Nad, and I feel you have done (and may still be doing) that to me--and I will confront that every time (which, apparently, is easier online due to its anonymity--hence why I run into it more often). All I'm trying to do is get my wiki to do what I want and, unfortunately, it requires using 3rd-party extensions to even begin to doing what I want. Also, unfortunately, those extensions don't do exactly what I want so I have to press to get them developed further to meet my goals (which aren't all that unique and non-standard, I must say). However, some extension developers are reluctant to change/improve their extensions to facilitate my ideas (which would, of course, improve the extension's functionality and feasibility for all). Now, I would like to improve Simple Forms if you would like to. I'm stuck with Semantic Forms trying to do what I want, and need Simple Forms' interoperability with DPL. The ball's in your court now... -Eep² 08:01, 18 September 2007 (CEST)
I will continue to do work on all my extensions including SimpleForms when I get the time. You'll just have to be patient and wait for features and bug fixes to emerge as I can get the time to do them. I'd like to have more time to work on all of that, but unfortunately I have to prioritise the work that pays, so I just chip away where I can. --Nad 11:11, 18 September 2007 (CEST)

strange text insertions in random articles

I get the impression that some kind of robot inserts random text at the beginning of articles: see my deletions, revertions from today and e.g. see your home page. Do you have any idea why this happens? Maybe I should install some edit-questionnaire tool which blocks robots?

Gero 17:28, 26 September 2007 (CEST)
Yea, just noticed on my user page. I guess captcha edit is needed? Stupid spambots...or don't let anonymous users edit pages... —Eep² 18:17, 26 September 2007 (CEST)
