Based on DPL 1.6.9 code, it adds a new parameter "imageused" which behaves similar to "linksto" but operates on image inclusion rather than page links.
Example: imageused=Image:My image.jpg¦Image:Your image.jpg
This also allows for a new user format variable %IMAGESEL%, paralleling the %PAGESEL% variable for linksto.
Future improvements to consider include addition of parameters: "notimageused", "imageusedfrom", and "notimageusedfrom" (equivalents of notlinksto, linksfrom, and notlinksfrom).
