I contribute to the english Wikipedia. I am impressed with the MediaWiki software. I have several private wikis for various purposes. I have begun to enable and use some of the powerful extensions on one of these wikis. I was impressed with DPL after reading about it in the MediaWiki book by Daniel Barrett. I have begun to use DPL, and am generally pleased with it.
